What’s On: Tuesday 13th March 2018

This year’s theme is Secret London. This year’s programming is dedicated to alternate London and the stories you won’t read about in an Official London City Guide. Secret London delves deep into the metropolis and uncovers an invisible and unfamiliar city, where the narrative of the outsider is given full voice and the unorthodox and unconventional is embraced.

Award winning author Iain Sinclair is our headliner this year and will talk about his critically acclaimed books on London including London Overground, Lights Out for the Territory. Vice journalist Oobah Butler, featured in Longform’s ‘Best of 2017’, will offer a funny and insightful talk about his recent fame making his garden shed the top-rated restaurant in London on TripAdvisor. Additionally, there will be performances of extract of James Kenworth’s play “When Chaplin met Gandhi”,uncovering little-known London folklore of this unique historical event.
