Writing Workshop 2: Frames in Sitcoms

Frames in Sitcoms.png

Sitcoms do more than just make people laugh. They explore human behaviour and address the personal and professional challenges we deal with on a regular basis. Recently, there has been an influx of comedies (Veep, Blackish, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend to name a few) that tackle political issues or matters of social justice.

This workshop led by talented screenwriter and Middlesex University lecturer Deborah Klika, is an opportunity for writers of all kinds to use humour to address important issues and perhaps experiment with a genre they hadn’t considered before or discover new techniques they can take forward in their own writing.

Writing Workshop 2: Frames in Sitcoms  will take place at 11am in C210 at this year’s North London Literary Festival on the 16th March.

In order to guarantee a seat for this event, please rsvp via Eventbrite.

The North London Literary Festival is a free event and open to students, faculty and members of the public.
