Tessa Hart is a director, producer, actress and playwright as well as the Artistic Director of The Bread & Roses Theatre, an innovative and award-winning fringe theatre, and Goblin Baby Theatre Co.
Directing credits include The Princess Monologues (various London venues), a new adaptation of Miss Julie (Bread & Roses Theatre), Darker The Night (Hen & Chickens Theatre / Etcetera Theatre) and yearly V-Day benefit productions of The Vagina Monologues (various London venues).
Producing credits include the One Billion Rising Festival, the Clapham Fringe Festivals, the UNHEARD Festivals as well as many theatre productions.
Acting credits include the UK premiere of a new French translation of Macbeth (Cockpit Theatre), Low Level Panic (Bread & Roses Theatre), The Devil & Stepashka (The Space), The Second Shepherd’s Play (New Diorama Theatre) as well as feature and short films.
Playwriting credits include one-act family theatre shows (S̶)Elfish Christmas and CinderElla – And Her Smelly Old Slipper as well as various short plays and adaptations.
