Science fiction is about imaginary worlds. Therefore, it must always start by looking at our own. This workshop deals with describing our own world in unfamiliar terms, and opening up possibilities for imagining others.
It will be lead by multi-talented writer David Cottis also theatre director and lecturer. It is an opportunity for writers of all kinds to perhaps experiment with a genre that they hadn’t considered before or discover new techniques they can take forward in their own writing. Don’t miss this great opportunity that is open to all.
The Fiction Workshop on Creating Imaginary Worlds at this year’s North London Literary Festival will take place on 22nd March at 11.00 am. In order to guarantee a seat for this event, please rsvp via Eventbrite.
The North London Literary Festival is a free event and open to students, faculty and members of the public.
